Signs of Spring

Happy Tuesday!! I was out back working around the patio and really noticed how nicely things are filling in. Spring is definitely in the air!!

This morning, I noticed how the jasmine, near the patio, has overtaken my fountain! We will definitely have to make some adjustments here...but, I can't wait for it to bloom!! The fragrance, when we're sitting out, will be wonderful!!!

The elephant ears are sprouting up, while the vinca vine is trailing everywhere!!!

The lamb's ears are thick and lush!!

And, I'm starting to see color!!!!  The clematis is starting to bloom and climb, while the Texas natives are in full bloom!

And my absolute favorites are the Knockout Roses.  All of the bushes are full of buds; and one has opened up!!

Yes, Spring is definitely in the air! I get so excited to see how much everything has grown since the previous year!! In just a few short weeks, the gardens will be so thick and lush. Nature truly paints some wonderful pictures!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a good one!!

  3. You live further south from me and I can tell, because your flowers are ahead of mine! Love that clematis vine. I don't have any, but love it. My knock-out roses haven't opened up yet, but will soon. Yours is very pretty! My jasmine has been blooming for awhile now though. We may have a different kind than yours. Isn't Spring such a pretty time of year?

  17. Hi Shenita...

Ohhh...your flower garden is sooo beautiful! I definitely have spring fever! Hehe! I'm afraid that we have a ways to go before having any flowers here at my place. When I lived in south Texas, I had jasmine! It was glorious!!! Yes, you are really going to enjoy that heavenly fragrance once they begin to bloom! Wished our blogs had a "scratch and sniff" option! wink!

Well dear friend, I just read the sweet note that you left for me and I wanted to come by to say thank you! I sooo enjoyed your visit! I hope that my note is finding you and your family all doing well!

    Warmest spring wishes,
    Chari

  21. Love the shots of Spring, Shenita. Knock out roses are Spring's calling card! Last year on our way home from Dallas after seeing Josh Groban in concert we stopped in Tyler, TX to buy roses (I can remember years ago when you could buy Tyler roses on the side of the highway for $3 a dozen). I couldn't resist buying the yellow rose bush. My yellow rose of Texas is now blooming beautifully.Flowers are a gorgeous way to color our world!
