Fireside Dining

While going through some of my fall magazines, I was inspired by a photo of a fireside tablesetting.  Since Dear Hubby and I don't get much 'alone time',  I thought it would be nice to set a fireside table for dinner tonight. We had a burst of cold air to rush in last night; so, the setting should be perfect!

I started by bringing in one of my smaller tables and covering it with a bronze tablecloth.  I layered it with a runner from my foyer table.  I think the faux fur adds great texture and the zebra stripe adds just a little bit of sass!

Once I decided on the runner, I used my gold chargers; and layered those with my wedding china, 'Wedding Band', by Mikasa. This china is so versatile. It can be dressed up or dressed down.  I added amber and green goblets.

For my 'centerpiece', I chose to use some of the harvest from  Dear Hubby's vegetable garden.  Believe it or not...all of the pepper plants are still producing, as we have not had a hard freeze just yet! The vegetables provide such great seasonal color.

(Do you recognize the container?? It is one of my Goodwill finds from my previous post! LOL!!!)

I also added a single pillar candle, surrounded by a fall candle ring, for additional ambience.

The fireside dinner table should be one of our more memorable dining experiences.  Sometimes, it's just fun to mix things up a bit!

Finally, I need to say a special thanks to Kitty at Kitty's Kozy Kitchen.  Kitty stopped by the other day and left me with the 'Triple Cute Award'.

I continue to be humbled by those who think enough of my little blog to share the love! Thank you so much, Kitty!  Now, the rules for this award state that I should pass it on to 7 others that I feel have super cute blogs...and the awardees should do the same.  I am hoping to share this award with blogs that have not previously been awarded.  So, I will post those in a couple of days!

I hope you have been inspired by something that I have shared with you today. Happy Decorating!
