During my Hobby Lobby run this week, I found some great 50% off items. I felt like a kid in a candy store...it seems that everything is on sale!!
I got these cute little plates for a small wall, in the pass-thru, from the kitchen to the dining room. I love the scroll detail that they have.
(I think this plate rack and I will have a date with a can of black spray paint this afternoon.)
Next, I saw this great metal crown, with the fleur de lis top. I thought it would be a great place to sit one of my Lampe Berger fragrance lamps. This is going on the center island in the kitchen.
I also found this plate, with it's built-in iron stand. I'm not sure where it's going...but, I HAD to get it!
I thought this harlequin patterned jar was really pretty. The fleur de lis top sold it for me!
I grabbed a bag of fall accents...acorns, leaves, etc. to fill it; and created this vignette for one of my end tables:
(I already had the candle ring from Hobby Lobby, from a previous 50% off sale.)
While I was tinkering with this vignette, I decided to add a little fall to my coffee table. I scrunched up a throw that I had previously purchased at Hemispheres (Hobby Lobby's big sister), during one of their 40% off sales:
I just added a few pumpkins to my bowl of decorative balls, and draped a leafy garland around it. Then, I dangled some grapes from the urn, on the corner of the table.
Now, on to Kirkland's. I found these cute little tasseled lampshades on a clearance shelf...for $2.00! The pattern consists of tiny little squares; but, it reminded me of leopard print.
I bought six of them for my dining room chandelier:
Then, for a couple of those, "Why Not?" purchases...you know, the ones that are impulsive, that you just couldn't resist???
(Hint: These could be a cute little Christmas gift!)
Kirkand's had these cute little monogrammed coasters for $4.00; and I got this cute little plaque for my kitchen, from one of my favorite home decor shops:
Well, that's it for today! It's a good week for bargains!!
