Do You Recognize This House?? (Win a $50 Gift Card)

Happy Sunday!! Today is a slow blogging day for me; so, I thought I would offer up a little game of TV trivia.

This house was one of the most famous TV houses of the 80's!  In high school and college, it was featured on "must see" TV night, for me. Little did I know, that a few years later, I would call this house my neighbor!! Just 8 minutes away from my home, sits this piece of television history.  It is now used for homecoming dances, proms, tours, and corporate events. It even has a name!!!

Can you name this house???

***Let me hear your answers...There is a "Part 2" twist to this tomorrow!!!!!  It involves a $50 gift card!!!

  10. It's Southfork Ranch in good ol' Parker, Texas. My aunt made the hats that J.R. wore and she even made my dad one (I have it now). And they shot Dallas - The Early Years, about 2 miles from my house back in 1985 and it aired in 1986. I can't wait until they bring it back next October.

  14. This may be a cheat...I grew up in Plano in the 70's. Drove past that house many a time before it was Southfork Ranch. Went to my 10 yr high school reunion there...20 yrs ago! So it's been an event & conference center at least that long.

  19. Ah, yes. Dallas' Southfork Ranch. This "humble" abode is known all over the world! In fact, many people think most Texans live this way. lol NOT! Ask anyone in another country about "Dallas" and their face lights up. Amazing.
